Sid Holt

"Sid" Holt, 70 of Dumas passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 oclock in the afternoon on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at First Assembly of God with Kevin Anderson, officiating, Darla Anderson assisting. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Sid was born on July 4, 1950 in Dumas, TX to William and Alberta (Nelson) Holt. He was united in marriage to Gloria Davis on January 4, 1968 in Dumas, TX; she preceded him in death on February 18, 2018. Sid was a man of strong Christian faith who loved his family and playing the guitar and piano. He was very friendly, quick witted, and could always be found either traveling to the valley or going fishing. Sid will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. In addition to Gloria his wife he was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Bill Holt. Sid is survived by his children: Chuck Holt of Garden City, KS, Bill Holt and wife Dusty of Sunray, TX, Niki Thacker and husband Bryan of Pampa, TX; siblings: Sue Stevens of Stratford, TX, John Holt and wife Brenda of Claude, TX, Dee Ward and DeWayne of Amarillo, TX, Ruth Russell and husband Dwight of Amarillo, TX, Gary Holt and wife Vickie of Dumas, TX, and Clark Holt and wife Linzi of Dumas, TX; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
