Teresa Lynn Ireland

Teresa Lynn Ireland, 66 of Dumas passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. A memorial service is scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Pastor Anthony Curran, pastor of Encounter Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Teresa was born on November 7, 1957, in Crosbyton, TX to Arthur and Patricia (Latham) Fewell. In 1975 she married Tommy Ireland in Dumas. Teresa worked at Dumas Nursing Center for over 20 years until her retirement.  She was always up for a good laugh and enjoyed board games. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being around her family and cheering on her grandchildren. She and Tommy had been attending Encounter Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Teresas is survived by her husband Tommy Ireland of the home; daughters: Misty Ireland of Lubbock, TX, Amber Ireland of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Sammy Cooper and wife Whitney, McKenna Cooper, Keegan Ireland, Maddy Zei; great-grandchildren: James Cooper and Hadley Cooper; sisters: Sharon Phillips of Dumas, TX, Cindy Smith and husband Danny of Colbert, OK, Kathy R. Phillips and husband Leslie of Midland, TX; brothers: Larry Fewell and wife Audrey of Dumas, TX, Rickie D. Fewell and wife Gail of Calera, OK, and  Kelly E. Fewell and wife Tasha of Dumas, TX; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
