Terry D. Craigmiles

Terry D. Craigmiles, 83 of Dumas, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 oclock in the afternoon on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with David Bonner, officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 oclock to 6 oclock in the afternoon. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Terry was born on March 29, 1937 in Pleasant Hill, IL to E.T. "Bud" and Bernice (Foster) Craigmiles. He was a resident of Dumas for over 65 years. Terry was united in marriage to Peggy on June 14, 1957. He went to work for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline as a maintenance mechanic and retired after 36 years. In school, Terry was very athletic in sports, lettering in every sport. He was also an avid sports fan. He loved the Dumas Demons, Demonettes, Dallas Cowboy and the St. Louis Cardinals. He supported the community by being an active member of Dumas Evening Lions Club and Moore County Ringers. He had a wonderful sense of humor and not only enjoyed a good joke but he enjoyed people in general. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson: William Craigmiles; sister: Linda Dawson. Terry is survived by his wife Peggy, of the home; children: Karen Rogers and husband Byron of Lubbock, TX, Danny Craigmiles and wife Cathy of Dumas, TX, Nora Cornelius and husband Kyle of Throckmorton, TX; grandchildren: Alison Steward and husband Justin, Amy Schmoe and husband David, Kime Rogers and wife Whitney, Kalyssa Collier and husband Brian, Macey Glowczwski and husband Zac; sister: Midge Harruff and husband Lynn of Dalhart, TX.
