Thomas "TJ" Joseph Summersell

Thomas Joseph “T.J.” Summersell, 54, died Friday, February 17, 2023 at SMMC. Visitation will be 9 AM until 9 PM Monday with family receiving friends from 5 PM until 7 PM at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2 PM Tuesday at Myers & Smith Chapel with burial at Trinity Memorial Park.  A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Dumas, TX under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

T.J. was born on September 21, 1968 in Big Spring, TX to Linda and Charles Summersell. He’s been a resident of Big Spring for 34 years, coming from Dumas, TX.

T.J worked at American Express and then Wells Fargo in Big Spring for 10 years. He was a fan of the St. Louis Rams, Chicago Cubs, and Arizona Cardinals.

T.J. is survived by his mother: Linda Summersell of Big Spring; 1 brother: Brad Summersell (Misty); 2 nephews: Todd Austin Summersell & Dalton Wade Summersell.

T.J. was preceded in death by his father: Charles Joseph “Hut” Summersell.
