Timothy Alan Hudgins

Timothy Alan Hudgins, 51 of Gilmer, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Life Tabernacle Church with Rev. Mark Wallis, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors. Tim was born on July 13, 1967 in Dumas, Tx to Melvin 'Buddy' and Lucille (Murray) Hudgins. He grew up in Dumas and graduated from Dumas High School where he was very active in Show Choir. After high school, he honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He was united in marriage to Yvonne Martin on August 19, 1989 in Great Falls, Montana. The couple would settle in Gilmer where they would make their home and raise their family. Tim was an excellent singer and at all the family functions it was inevitable that a family sing along would occur. He had an excellent sense of humor and always had a good joke to tell. Family was very important to Tim, especially his wife and children. He was a member of the Highridge Church in Longview. He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece: Maddie Kelley. Tim is survived by his wife Yvonne, of the home; children: Jaxon Hudgins and Sabree Hudgins of the home; sisters: Pam McAlister and husband Doyle of Overgaard, AZ and Tanya Koch and husband Floyd of Pampa, TX; brother: Dickey Hudgins and wife Cindy of Palmer, AK; numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests with gratitude that memorials be made to Life Tabernacle Church.
