Victor Pena

Victor Pena, 52 of Dumas, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024.  The rosary will be recited at 6 o’clock in the evening on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Morrison Memorial Chapel.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Luis as celebrant.  Private family interment will be held at a later date.   Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Victor was born on May 3, 1971, in Chihuahua, Mexico to Rodolfo Pena Sr. and Irene Venegas.  He moved to Dumas at a young age where he attended school and graduated from Dumas High School in 1989.  After high school, he honorably served his country in the United States Navy for 11 years.  After his service, he attended Texas Tech University and graduated with a bachelor’s in science degree specializing in community, family and addiction services. He continued his education and later graduated with a master’s degree from Texas Tech University specializing in marriage and family therapy.  Victor was the Director of Clinical Services at Great Oaks Recovery Center in Houston, TX.   He enjoyed working out and spending time with his family.

Victor was preceded in death by his mother, Irene and a brother Sergio Pena.

Victor is survived by his father: Rodolfo Pena Sr. and his wife Olga of Chaparral, NM; brothers: Luis Armando Pena of Juarez, Mexico and Rudy Pena and wife Shannon of Dumas, TX.

The family suggests, with gratitude, that memorials be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 915 S Maddox, Dumas TX 79029.
