Victoriana Loya, 87 of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. The rosary will be recited at 6 oclock in the evening on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. The Mass will be celebrated at 2 oclock in the afternoon on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Private family interment will be held in Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Victoriana was born on February 22, 1933 in Edcouch, TX to Encarnacion Torres and Eulalia Layton. She married Hilario Loya on August 16, 1948 in Cody, Wyoming; the couple would move to Dumas where they would make their home and raise their family. Victoriana was an excellent homemaker who loved to sew and cook for her family. She was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and served as a Guadalupana. Victoriana is preceded in death by her parents; husband Hilario in 2019; son, Ray Loya; daughters: Trini and Lydia Flores; grandson Robby Gutierrez and great great grandson Aiden. Victoriana is survived by her daughters: Mary Bernal and husband Art of Dumas, TX, Amanda Castillo and husband Pedro of Dallas, TX and Shannon Pena and husband Rudy of Dumas, TX; sister: Adelina Catano of Dumas, TX; 15 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
