Wanda was born on August 26, 1933 in Mangum OK to George and Cleta (Stafford) Wilson. She
moved to Dumas as a teen and was a proud graduate of Dumas High School in 1952, the first
class to graduate from the new high school. She worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern

business, and when he retired, she became a rural mail carrier and later worked as a bookkeeper

an avid and talented bowler. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy. She was their biggest
supporter and fan, cheering for every team they played on and attending every band concert,
choir concert, and theater production they were in. She was a proud, long-time member of the
First Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband Jack Brown, she was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Ruth
Johnson.

Jackie Street of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Jake Sullivan of Liberty, TX, Col. Joshua Sullivan
and wife Heather of San Jose, CA, Mariah Neumeyer and husband Josh of San Antonio, TX, and
Kaleb Street of Dumas, TX; 7 great-grandchildren; brother: Gary Wilson and wife Joy of Dumas,
TX; brother-in-law: Donnie Brown and wife Bobbie of Dumas, TX; sister-in-law: Joy Nichols
