Wavel Maxine Clements

Wavel Maxine Clements, 96, formerly of Dumas, passed away on September 17, 2021. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 20, 2021 at Beeson-Morrison Funeral Home. A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Wavel Maxine Coym was born on November 19, 1924 in Canadian, TX to Henry and Laura (Wisdom) Coym. She was united in marriage to Walter L. “Red” Clements on October 7, 1950 in Pampa, TX. He preceded her in death in 1998. Wavel and Red made their home in Dumas in 1962. She resided there until November 2020. She was a member of 14th Street Church of Christ. In addition to her husband, Red, she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers Henry Coym, Wayne Coym, Ewell Coym, and Gordon Coym and two sons Leslie Clements and Rusty Clements. Wavel is survived by her daughters: Laura Patlan and husband Juan of Amarillo, TX and Cindy Black and husband Chuck of Amarillo, TX, daughters-in-law Valerie Clements of Dumas, TX and Cathi Clements of Odessa, TX, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
