William Keith "Bill" Gamble

William Keith “Bill” Gamble, 83 formerly of Stratford passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. A Graveside service is scheduled for 10:30 in the morning on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Stratford Cemetery with Pastor Michael Rinne, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Bill was born on May 11, 1940, in Dalhart, TX to Graydon Elbert and Nellie Audrey (VanVliet) Gamble.  He grew up in Stratford where he graduated from Stratford High School and later attended Texas Tech University.  Bill was a very hard working man who worked various jobs, working as a landlord and as a CNA at Convalescent House, which he was most proud of.  He was a good Christian man who always followed the Lord. Everyone in Amarillo that knew Bill called him Bicycle Bill.  He was a member of Grace Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bill is survived by his sisters: Cynthia Gamble Reed of Bakersfield, CA, Sharon Wilson and husband John of Stratford, TX, Yvonne Pittman and husband Duane of Amarillo, TX; several nieces and nephews.
