William Dean "Bill" Vinson

William Dean “Bill” Vinson, 85 of Dumas passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. A Private burial will be held at Vinson Family Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Bill was born on December 11, 1938, in Oklahoma to R.C. “Bob” and Cora Anna (Lemke) Vinson. At a young age he went to work for Tip Tipton where he learned how to work on cars.   He owned and operated B&D Industrial for over 30 years and also owned and operated B&D Properties. Bill was a hardworking man and took excellent care of his properties, taking great pride in being a good landlord.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Debra Gayle; brothers: Monroe and James Vinson; sister: Shirley Watkins.

William is survived by his daughter: Donna Bain of Dumas, TX; sons: Danny Vinson of Dumas, TX, Carl Vinson and wife Shelley of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren: Jeremy Vinson of Goodwell, OK, Meagan Michaels of Burkburnett, TX, Courtney Mills of Amarillo, TX, Kayla Bain of Amarillo, TX, Bethany Purcell of Canadian, TX, Scott Bain of Dumas, TX, Cameron Vinson of Amarillo, TX; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers: Bob Vinson of Niwot, CO, Vernon Vinson of Niwot, CO, and Kenneth Vinson of Arkansas.
